Globes Best & Worst Dressed

ANGELINA JOLIE & BRAD PITT: BEST
The evening's golden couple channeled old Hollywood in a classic J. Lindeberg tux for him and a ruched charcoal gray St. John gown for her – and plenty of star power for both.

KATE WINSLET: BEST
The best actress nominee dazzled in a draped white Azzarro column dress and plenty of Chopard jewels.

CAMERON DIAZ: WORST
Even with her statuesque frame, the star is overwhelmed by a few too many ruffles on her pale tulle gown.
PENELOPE CRUZ: BEST
The Volver star and nominee was all soft romance in a black Chanel couture gown designed just for her self-described "good friend Karl Lagerfeld."

JENNIFER LOPEZ: BEST
Never afraid to go for high drama, the star sizzled in a '60s-style hairdo and a goddess-like Marchesa gown.

BEYONCÉ: WORST
Did she take "Golden" literally? The nominee for Dreamgirls stumbled in her too-sexy, too-glitzy gown.

AMERICA FERRERA: BEST
Ugly is the new beautiful – which couldn't be more true for Ferrera, who glowed in a custom-made Brian Reyes gown.

DREW BARRYMORE: BEST
Leaving her "Urban Outfitters jewelry" at home for some major diamonds, the actress was pure elegance in a Grecian-inspired gown from John Galliano for Christian Dior.

NICOLLETTE SHERIDAN: WORST
More Barbie than glamour-girl, the Desperate Houswife''s gown is too stiff and retro to show off her famous curves.

HILARY SWANK: BEST
The star goes for a classic pin-up girl style – with a form-fitting Chanel couture black gown and a 53-carat diamond flower tucked into her side-swept waves.

JENNIFER GARNER: BEST
Out to support nominated hubby Ben Affleck, the star steals the show in a white and silver vintage Gaultier gown and loose locks.

EVA LONGORIA: BEST
The star may have admitted that wearing navy was "a first" for her, but her Ungaro gown and elaborate updo are definitely a look worth doing again and again.

PATRICIA ARQUETTE: WORST
The Medium star takes a wrong turn in a drab-colored gown that doesn't flatter her figure.

JENNIFER LOVE HEWITT: WORST
The Ghost Whisperer star's petite frame is overwhelmed by her voluminous gold ballgown and big hair.

ALI LARTER: BEST
The first-time Globes attendee gets it right on her first try – she dazzles in a creamy Reem Acra gown that she got only a few hours before the show!

RINKO KIKUCHI: WORST
Was the Babel actress inspired by cotton candy? Her pouf-laden dress needs the air taken out of it.

JESSICA BIEL: BEST
The presenter showcased her famously toned physique in a glitering, backless gold gown and a soft updo.

CATE BLANCHETT: BEST
Ever a risk-taker, the supporting actress nominee stood out from the pack in an asymmetrical-hem, off-the-shoulder, black lace dress by British designer Alexander McQueen.
